Information We Collect
Account information: Email address and display name when you register.
Usage data: Questions asked, saved verses, prayer journal entries, and reading plan progress.
Device information: Platform type (iOS/web) for feature delivery.
Payment data: Subscription status managed through Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat — we never store your payment card details.
Authentication — Supabase
User accounts are powered by Supabase, a secure cloud database and auth platform. Your credentials are encrypted and never stored in plain text. Supabase processes data in accordance with GDPR and SOC 2 standards.
AI Features — Anthropic
VerseAid uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate scripture-based responses, daily verses, and Bible content. Your questions are sent to Anthropic's API to generate answers. Anthropic may retain API request data per their own privacy policy. We do not share your personal identity with Anthropic — requests are sent without identifying information beyond the content of your question.
Payments — RevenueCat & Apple
Subscription billing on iOS is handled through Apple In-App Purchase via RevenueCat. RevenueCat manages entitlements and subscription state. We receive your subscription status but not your payment card or financial details. Apple's privacy policy governs the payment transaction itself.

VerseAid is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
